What is in the way of you living your dreams?

My guess is that you quickly thought of at least 2 good reasons you are not living your dreams; one of them was “time” and the other was “money.”

How did I know? Easy. These are the top 2 reasons most people give for why they are not doing or producing what they want to in life!

We humans believe that there is not enough time, and definitely, not enough money.

But I have a little secret for you.  It’s actually a BIG secret, but I am willing to share it with you for fun….

Time and money are never good reasons for you to give up living the life of your dreams.  Never.

They just appear that way.  And they appear that way because they disguise themselves as the truth. And when we feel like we are living the truth, it provides us with a justifiable excuse for doing what we do, choosing what we do, and generating only what is expected from that.

When someone says, ” I don’t have the time.  I don’t have the money.”  You believe them right?  ”It sure sounds like the truth,” you might add.

But is it?  And how can we be sure?

Okay, so this might sound like a funny example, but bear with me.  Let’s say we walked into your favorite restaurant and you wanted to order a bowl of “I don’t have the time and money.”  The context here is that time and money are scarce.

I mean I know this sounds silly, but could you? Could you order it?

Well, we could certainly collect evidence for it being true and discern that it is the truth based on how many people in that restaurant believed that it was, right?

But is it the truth?

No, it is not. I cannot order a bowl of “time and money is scarce.” I cannot order it because it is not real. It is not the truth, it is my interpretation of the truth. And if is an interpretation, it can never be the truth, no matter how real it seems.

An interpretation is just a thought, an idea that people believe to be true.  And it occurs real because we believe it into existence.  But really, all thoughts, all beliefs, all interpretations exist only in conversation. A conversation that we consistently have with ourselves and others, about the way it is, the way it was, and the way expect it to be in the future.

This conversation is not the truth. We just believe it is.  Believing it limits the possibility that time and money could be anything else. And this conversation stops us in our tracks every time.

But psssssst!  I got another secret for you:

This is where you find the good stuff!
This is an opportunity, disguised as a problem.

So what do we know about interpretations and the conversations that we have and believe to be true?  That they can change! Right!

Now it’s not the interpretations themselves that change, of course, we do. WE do the changing and we have the power within us, available to us at any given moment to change our beliefs and make something that was true before, not true NOW!  We can choose the way we relate to our beliefs -the way we hold them, the way we choose them, the way we empower them.

SO let me ask you this:

What is possible for you if you replaced the belief that “time and money are scarce” with the belief that “time and money are unlimited?”

Really, consider it.  What is possible in your life if you believed that time and money are available to you at any time, at any place?

What could you generate in your life
if you believed THAT?

Think about it really.  I mean, instead of sending out that next text message, or looking up old friends on Facebook, ask yourself these questions.

I mean, we are talking about your LIFE here.  Are you interested in it?

Would you like to start living it?

Do you want to transform your relationship to the past and reinvent your future or do you want more of the same?

Because really, either way is fine with me. You are perfect the way you are, I know that.  You could easily go on living your life the way you have been, doing what you do naturally and have an incredible life.  There is no doubt about it.

• Empower your choices and choose from LOVE and not FEAR!
